We appreciate the opportunity to tell you about the 2008 conference.  Please click on the banner above to go to the registration page.  Last year was the first conference for the United States Airport and Seaport Police, and by all accounts was a great success.  For our International Association this is the 39th year. The U.S is a member of the America’s Region, part of the global alliance of the International Association of Airport and Seaport Police.  Together we work to protect the traveling public and the movement of goods throughout the world.

This conference provides our members and colleagues the opportunity to network with each other, federal officials and our international counter parts face to face to discuss ideas and plan for tomorrow.  This years conference theme is Partnership for Protection. We understand it requires cooperation between jurisdictions, states and governments to effectively provide security. Cooperation does not just happen.  Several programs to address anti terrorism, intelligence and communications, the mitigation of risk and effective planning and training are underway.
